The staff is awesome. The food was amazing. Love this small town gem. You have to stop in and stay a while it feels like home. Snoopy would be proud l. They were serving poutine and We got their pizza, definitely recommend it. We built our own vegaholic with bacon and sausage and white sauce. We will be a repeat visitor.

A quaint little store and diner just below the Canadian boarder. The staff and friendly. The food is good. The milkshakes are AMAZING!! If you find your way north on Hwy 95, about 20 miles from Bonners Ferry, stop in and enjoy the food and atmosphere!

The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The Philly Cheesesteak was the best I had in a long time. The cheese was the perfect meltiness and the meat and veggies were good, too. I had their homemade chicken noodle soup for a side, but devoured it before I took a picture. The noodles were thick and dumpling-like. Yummy! My husband and son had the sausage and pepperoni pizza. Some of the best pizza of Idaho, which isn’t saying much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Basically they actually used good ingredients. If you actually like the slop chain stores try to pass as pizza in Bonners Ferry, you’ll think it’s amazing, but I’m from NY, so I have really high standards. All in all, a great experience. Maybe next time we’ll try some burgers.

The ladies that were working were so kind and generous! My husband and I stopped in after a hike. I shared a black raspberry shake with my husband (due to a health issue I wasn’t able to have a full one). The ladies divided it into two separate glasses so we could both enjoy! It was one of the best shakes I’ve had! Better yet was the time we spent sharing time, stories and encouragement with the two women working. Even took our picture together as it was a favorite moment during a brief respite from care of an older parent. Great experience!!!

Lil slice of heaven. Fresh hand made hamburger patties. Good beer selection. Kids nearby were noshing on ice cream. Mostly local workers and retired folks on my weekday lunch. One eclectic old girl from Portland, keeping it spicy. The staff (both of them) worked their butts off, but were friendly and real. If ya don't want socialist beef in Canada, stop here first.

We need more places like this. Sadly, they are getting less common. “They call it progress , but I just don’t know.” The Good Grief Store is so special. The food is really really good and the ladies working there are friendly and very welcoming. These are the places worth saving in our country.

We stopped because my mom always says “good grief Idaho”. Well they didn’t have stickers to send to my mom, they did have the most amazing pizza and super friendly staff. They made us a fresh pot of coffee and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The food is clearly made with care and with fresh ingredients. Thanks for the pizza!
